The Regis Company Brings Home Gold and Bronze for Leadership Development Solutions

November 4, 2019

Gold went to a massive, two-day boardgame simulation for railway leaders; bronze to an immersive, two-week executive education experience for an international company.

Today, The Regis Company (regiscompany.com) announced that they received two Chief Learning Officer (CLO) Learning in Practice Awards for their custom designed leadership development solutions. They earned Gold in the Excellence in Blended Learning category as well as Bronze in the Excellence in Executive Education category. Winners were announced on Monday, October 14th at the Annual CLO Symposium. The Chief Learning Office magazine is a publication put out by Human Capital Media.

“We are really excited about the recognition we received this year,” said co-president and CEO of Regis, Mike Kester, who attended this year’s award ceremony. “It’s a great acknowledgement of the partnership between our team and our clients to create programs that really make a difference.” This isn’t the first time The Regis Company has received industry recognition, having more than 50 similar honors since 2009.

The Excellence in Blended Learning program—designed in conjunction with Regis client partner, BNSF Railway—featured a massive, two-day boardgame simulation which mirrored the daily realities and challenges of a railway leader. The Excellence in Executive Education program was deployed over two weeks to more than 170 general managers at a leading international life science company, combining a multi-round simulation with facilitated out-of-simulation activities.
